Why I choose to work at DaVinci Academy

After staying home with my sons for eight years, I was blessed to find a teaching job which would allow me to continue to be close to my boys. I love DaVinci's close knit community and the way the mission and vision of the school allow for creative teaching and learning.

Hobbies/Interests

I scrapbook (when I have time), sing on the praise team at my church and LOVE to read. My husband and I enjoy vacationing at our time share in Mexico. 

Family

My husband Mark and I have two sons who attend DaVinci, and we live in Ham Lake with our yellow lab named Carter.

A particular highlight of the Core Knowledge curriculum for me was when my second grader and my fifth grader got into an argument at the dinner table over the correct pronunciation of the Aztec city Tenochtitlan.
