Why I choose to work at DaVinci Academy

I love how DaVinci stresses differentiation in their classrooms. They really strive to meet the individual needs of each and every student, no matter how much extra work or time it takes. That type of commitment to every student is identical to my personal philosophy of teaching physical education.

Hobbies/Interests

I love sports, as you could imagine. I played sports all through high school and into college. I became a P.E. teacher because I wanted to share what I have learned through sports with other kids. I also really enjoy cooking. I do not love the really difficult recipes, but rather the slightly easier ones that still taste delicious. My favorite recipe to make is French bread pizza. It meets the taste quota of both the adult and kid in me.

Family

I grew up in Hopkins, MN, which is ten minutes west of Minneapolis, where I lived with my dad and mom, Paul and Deb. I have an older brother, Eric, who is married and has a little daughter named, Reese. That makes me an uncle! I hope to have a family of my own someday, but I am enjoying being a young professional for the time being.
