Why I choose to work at DaVinci Academy

I first met Terry and Vonnie at a job fair in April 2009. Their booth was unique because it was covered in pictures of DaVinci students busy at work and play. I thought about the school off and on and was thrilled when Terry called me in July to ask me to join the school staff. I was and continue to be impressed by the atmosphere and the team spirit among staff, as well as the emphasis on arts and excellence.

Hobbies/Interests

My main hobby is spending time with my husband, Kevin, and my four children, Carson, Connor, Maria and Paula. We love to be outside and sled, snowmobile, and play at every park we can find. When the weather is bad, we paint, read stories and, my favorite, cook and bake together. We also spend a fair amount of time at the YMCA swimming and shooting hoops. I also love to play volleyball.

Family

I’m from Park Rapids, Minnesota, where my parents still live and we go to get away from city life. My husband, Kevin, works at Cornerstone Auto Resource in Elk River, where we reside. Kevin’s four wonderful children, Carson, Connor, Maria and Paula, are also a huge light in my life. They are my greatest teachers.
