Alexadra Gross

Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Alexandra Gross teaches sixth and seventh grade social studies at DaVinci Academy.  Ms. Gross holds a BA in psychology and political science from New York University and master's degrees in history (College of William & Mary) and secondary education (University of St. Thomas).  As a social studies teacher, she believes that her role is to promote thoughtfulness, empathy, and understanding through the study of various cultures and perspectives. She also hopes to foster an appreciation of history in her students and works to make the content exciting and personally meaningful to them. Her favorite part of working with middle school students is experiencing the genuine enthusiasm, excitement, and honesty unique to the middle school years.
