Cassi Brown developed the Spanish program at DaVinci, and has been at the school since 2013. She teaches Spanish to grades four through eight where students begin with vocabulary, transition to sentences in middle school, and end the program with an immersion class.
Senora Brown graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a K-12 Spanish Education degree, during which time she studied abroad in Granada, Spain. She has travelled to Belize and the Dominican Republic to enhance the Spanish program and bring a global Hispanic perspective to the curriculum. “I am inspired to work at DaVinci because of the connections I make with my students. I see them for several years and watch them grow socially, fuse their interests into our activities in class, and create an engaging experience for all.”
