Elise Krohn is a Minnesota-native going into her second year of full-time teaching. After graduating from Bethel University in December of 2016 with dual degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching English as a Second Language, she spent a year teaching abroad in Colombia, South America. Coming from a family of educators, Elise is passionate about each of her students, meeting them where they are at and equipping them to achieve their goals. Ms. Krohn enjoys running, reading and discovering new coffee shops around the Twin Cities.

Life-long learning is a skill that I strive to hold onto through every aspect of my life. This comes to fruition in my life by reading a variety of books is a way to continue learning, participating in a variety of activities through my home church and being intentional about seeking new experiences. We can never know everything there is to know about the world, but we can strive to learn and understand the world around us more each and every day. Another habit I want to maintain in my life is being diligent about trying new things as often as possible. There is much to learn from new experiences, places and people.
