Michele Troy

Response to Intervention Instructor

Michele Troy has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies from the College of St. Benedict, She also has received certification in the Orton Gillingham Method  through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education.  Mrs. Troy began her teaching career at St. David's Center for Child and Family Development in Minnetonka, MN.  After several years of teaching at St. David's she continued working with children for the ECFE Program in St. Paul. She also has 12 years of experience as a home educator to their children. During this time she continued her education by receiving training in Writing Road to Reading and a variety of other curriculum.

Mrs. Troy has been a member of the DaVinci Faculty since 2008. She appreciates DaVinci's philosophy of creating life-long learners and has seen this attitude carry over into her own family.  She and her husband have eight children, ages 12 to 28, with the last four having been DaVinci students!

Mrs. Troy loves to be outdoors and her hobbies include biking, tennis, flower gardening, reading, walking her dogs and taking long road trips with her family!
