Donate to DaVinci Academy
DaVinci Academy offers its students and families a unique academic experience, focusing on an individualized approach to learning. With our emphasis on arts and sciences and our strong positive reinforcement strategy, we assist our families and the community in raising children to be confident, successful adults.
Although DaVinci Academy received grant monies to help cover start-up costs, those grant funds are no longer available. The school receives per-student funding from the State of Minnesota, but that funding does not cover all of our education costs. We do not share in special, substantial levy funding that non-charter public schools regularly receive, and need to rely on other grants, donations, and fundraising to cover operational costs.
DaVinci Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We have been fiscally responsible and are currently operating within our revenues. However, in order to grow our school and maintain the academic standards we have set, we must raise funds from the private sector. We sincerely appreciate whatever financial support you can provide in helping us achieve that mission.

By Check
To donate by check, download and complete the DaVinci Academy Donation Form and return it with your check to the school. You may either drop it off or mail it to the school.

Other Ways To Give
Company Matching Programs
Many employers offer a matching gift program to their employees, which is a great way to double your gift to DaVinci Academy! Typically, you will need to contact your company’s Human Resources representative to see if a matching gift program is available, and to obtain an enrollment form and information on your program.
United Way “Donor Choice” Contributions
Many DaVinci Academy families and friends work for companies who participate in the annual United Way giving campaign. Although DaVinci Academy does not receive funds from the United Way, under their program donors are able to utilize the Specific Organization section of the United Way giving form to designate all or a portion of the donation to go to a specific organization. Please consider selecting DaVinci Academy of Arts and Science.
Give to the Max Day
Each November DaVinci Academy participates in Give to the Max Day, and each year we are amazed by and so grateful for the generous donations from our community! Check out our GiveMN.org page for more details and to donate!
Giving – Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum gift amount?
No gift is too small! We appreciate that giving is a personal matter, and we will gratefully accept any amount you offer.
How will my gift be used?
Unless otherwise specified, gifts are deposited in our general operating fund. We prepare a budget annually, in which we identify specific funding needs. That budget is available for public review. Some of our current needs include:
- Curriculum enhancement
- Enhanced art and music programs
- Science lab equipment
- Enhanced technology
- Playground maintenance and upgrades
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. DaVinci Academy is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, so your gifts are tax deductible. We will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
Gifts over $100 require formal school board acceptance. However, if you want your gift in excess of $100 to remain anonymous, that request will be accommodated.
