Admissions

Enrollment at DaVinci Academy is handled on a lottery basis. The school currently has a waiting list for most grades, but we encourage any interested families to apply their child or children for admission.

DaVinci Academy accepts enrollment applications for students entering grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Application forms from new students received during our open enrollment period, which runs October 1, through January 31, of each year, will be included in our admissions lottery.  

The admissions lottery is held annually mid February.  All applicants will be advised of the results of the lottery the following day via email through Lotterease.  All applications that were not selected in the lottery will be placed on the school’s waiting list. If an opening occurs during the school year, the family of the first child on the waiting list will be immediately contacted.

DaVinci Academy uses Lotterease for our online application and lottery system. Parents may log in to view and edit applications as needed.  Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date in Lotterease, so the school can contact you when a spot becomes available.  If your child has been placed on the waiting list, you can check their placement by logging in to your account.

General Admission Procedures:

1. Order of Admission: Siblings of Already Admitted Students and foster child(ren) of that student’s parents , then Children of Staff Employed at the School, then General Admissions.
2. No waiting list carry over from year to year: Each waiting list is subject to a lottery and redrawn during each admission process each year.
3. Multiple births (twins, triplets, etc): Each student seeking admission completes an application (i.e. not one application for the family). In a lottery situation, each student receives an individual number/lot in the lottery.
4. Lottery Grade Order: Applicable lotteries occur from highest grade to lowest grade. For example, if a lottery is required in grades K and 3, the grade 3 lottery is conducted first, followed by the K lottery.

School Year 24-25 Application Process
You may use our Online Application to apply. The Enrollment Lottery will take place on Monday February 5, 2024.  Applications submitted October 1 through January 31, are eligible for Enrollment Lottery.   Students who submit applications after the January 31, deadline will be admitted if there are any openings, or added to a waiting list. Waiting list applicant priority will be based on the order the applications are received. If you would like to check your child’s application status, please log on to your Lotterease account.

If your child is offered a position in a particular grade, we will notify you and send you the enrollment packet via email for you to complete and return to DaVinci Academy.
