DaVinci Academy participates in and sponsors a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. In addition to helping fund our school’s ongoing needs, these fundraisers are also important in promoting and building our community. We encourage all families and friends to take advantage of these opportunities!

Annual DaVinci Academy Golf Tournament
This year’s Golf Tournament will be held at Topgolf in Brooklyn Park. DaVinci Academy will have 15 bays for our golfers to use for the tournament and the day will begin with a lunch together. Come and join us for this fun twist on a traditional Golf Tournament. More details can be found here.

Join us in this long standing tradition at DaVinci Academy on September 19, 2020. You can run, walk, scooter, bike or dance to your 5K finish line! This event will be virtual. A virtual walk is a real walk, but you determine your own course (park, lake, neighborhood, treadmill) and who walks next to you! The walking is real – it’s the community that’s virtual. So, don’t miss out on this fun and colorful event. Rgistration closes August 31st.

Give to The Max Day
Each November DaVinci Academy participates in Give to the Max Day, and each year we are amazed by and so grateful for the generous donations from our community! 2017 donations totaled over $4,000 and contributions went towards our outdoor classroom areas. Year 2018’s donations went towards scholarships for our students to participate in sports and extracurricular activities.

Heggies Pizza Sale
The School Development Committee is proud to bring back the 5th installation of our school wide Heggies Pizza Fundraiser. Enjoy pizza and help us raise money for the school. Funds will be used to improve our outdoor space, equipment and activities.
New this year, order forms and payments are done online. The pizza sale will run Monday, November 16 through Monday, November 30. Pizzas will be delivered Tuesday, December 15, 3:30-6:30 pm.

Easy Ways to Raise Funds for DaVinci Academy
Lands’ End has a “School Rewards Program” that provides DaVinci Academy the opportunity to benefit from any clothing purchased from their school catalog, from the school uniform section of their website, or from special kiosks in Lands’ End and Sears retail stores. The amount of the benefit ranges from 1% to 3% of total purchases by people who have identified our school as the benefit recipient. We encourage you to take a look at what Lands’ End has to offer, at www.landsend.com/schooluniforms. Merchandise includes everything from children’s uniform wear to men’s and women’s casual clothing. DaVinci Academy’s school identifying number under the Lands’ End program is 900142712. When making your purchase, please refer to this number. If you do not have it available at the time of your purchase, you can also find us under the full school name, DaVinci Academy of Arts and Science.
In addition, programs offered by General Mills, Kemp’s and others are administered by our active Parent and Teachers Organization (PTO). See details about current opportunities on the PTO’s website.
Interested in Creating a Fundraising Event for the School?
The DaVinci Academy School Development Committee monitors and/or organizes all fundraising events for the school. A “fundraising event” is defined as any activity that is conducted on behalf of DaVinci Academy of Arts and Science to raise funds and/or produce tangible items (e.g. books) and/or to enhance a school activity (e.g. poinsettias for the holiday music program). A Fundraising Event Application form must be submitted for School Development Committee review prior to the event. This process will be enforced for all fundraising events. Please note that the PTO may also conduct separate fundraising efforts.
