David Wetzell

In-house Substitute Teacher

David Wetzell joined the DaVinci Academy in November 2018, as an in house substitute teacher. David Wetzell graduated in 1979 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistics. He has been a professor of mathematics at Bethel University for over 30 years. He retired from Bethel University in June 2018. He now holds a substitute teachers license from the State of Minnesota. After retirement, David wanted to start a new path, but still help young people in their education.

Outside of DaVinci Academy, Dr. Wetzell enjoys being with his wife, Constance, and their family. His interests include listening to jazz music, playing games, watching sports, and spending time in New England.
